Really comfortable – just bought my 3rd and 4th pair I just bought my 3rd and 4th pair of these shorts because they are SO comfortable. I especially like the leg band – instead of the usual bare elastic to grip the leg, these have the shorts fabric folded over and the Pearl Izumi logo screened onto the fabric in grippy silicon. Take a zoom look at the leg band in the picture, it’s the same inside the shorts around the leg band. I thought they would slip but I have ridden over 100 mile rides and they stay in place really nicely, and the bonus is…

Great shorts These are nice cycling shorts. I just bought my second pair. The material really does help keep me cool, and I ride in the insane Texas heat, so that’s saying something. The chamois is nicely shaped with a little extra for the sit bones and less at the edges where you don’t want it, although I prefer to use a generous amount of Hoo Ha Ride Glide on it to prevent hot spots and chafing on long rides (ouch!). The stitching on the chamois is the only thing I think could use improvement (and why I…

Pearl Izumi Nix These nix have proved to be a fantastic addition to my cycling wardrobe. I find them super comfy as they have a great amount of stretch in the fabric, allowing them to be very true to the stated measurements for sizing. The chamois did take a couple of longer rides to ‘break-in’ as I found it a bit firmer than what I was used to, but now that that’s done, you actually an’t tell that you’ve got them on. I love them and think they’re great value for money.
